The tradition of eating together certainly goes back to the early church and Jesus was rooted in and lived this tradition, as we can see throughout the Gospels. There are many sermons, teaching points, scripture verses that we can learn from but very simply as a church family we want to be like Jesus and follow His example - eating together, sharing food, welcoming everyone, inviting the vulnerable, listening and encouraging each other, deepening our relationships etc.. We have planned a lunch every two months and they will look a little different each time. Join us if you can.
Sunday 20thNovember: 12.30pm (or thereabouts), The Smiddy Haugh, Aberuthven. You can choose for example a light bite, bowl of soup, plate of chips or a three course meal - whatever you fancy.
