Garden Update: June 2026
On land to the right of the church, we have developed a multi-functional garden to enrich lives in the local community and increase biodiversity. It's a hub where people can learn new skills, enjoy socialising outdoors and gain the therapeutic benefits of gardening. In this sheltered, sunny spot we grow crops and flowers which support the Kirk Café with any excess available from Auchterarder Library on Fridays. Everything is organic and sustainable - we make our own compost and use a rainwater collection system.
We also have ten mini allotments available, each 2.3m x 1.2m, to get you started growing your own food with all the tools, advise and encouragement you need.
Our potager area is a quiet place to sit and enjoy a view of the whole garden, listening to the birds singing and the bees buzzing.
During the growing season, you'll often find us in the garden on Friday mornings from 10 am-12 noon. But you are more than welcome to visit any time. If you find a weed and pull it out, then even better!
