Auchterarder and District Men’s Shed has been busy over the past few weeks restoring a house. The house is a Doll’s House, once the pride and joy of a little girl, who is now a bigger girl and wanted another youngster to have the same fun and enjoyment playing with it as she once did. The Doll’s House was donated to the Men’s Shed who have been glueing and screwing it back together, repairing windows, replacing missing roof tiles and repainting the roof. Secretary John commented that he had never before seen so many grown men gathered around a dolls house.
We aim to put this delightful dolls house up for sale at the forthcoming “Christmas in the Community” Fair in the Aytoun Hall on Sunday 26th November 12-4pm. This will make a fantastic Christmas present for a lucky child. Make sure you are there to secure this magnificent restored dolls house for your child or grandchild.
Our Men’s Shed meet every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon in Auchterarder Parish Church Community Centre 2-4pm.
